From Custom Gifts to Everyday Treasures: Insights from Reed Gift Fairs Sydney 2025
Exploring New Trends & Timeless Gift Inspirations

Hello there,
Last Sunday, I spent the day exploring Reed Gift Fairs Sydney, surrounded by creativity, craftsmanship, and the latest trends in gifting. It was an inspiring experience that reinforced my passion for curating gifts that bring joy, spark memories, and add meaning to everyday moments.
Walking through the fair, I saw firsthand how gifting is evolving—moving beyond traditional items to pieces that reflect personality, lifestyle, and heartfelt connections. From playful designs to timeless classics, every booth offered something unique, and I can’t wait to share some of my favourite discoveries with you.
Inspired Finds from Reed Gift Fair
✨ Adorable Animal-Shaped Planters
These little plant holders, designed with charming animal figures, instantly stood out. More than just decoration, they bring a sense of warmth and personality to any space, proving that a great gift can also be a living, growing piece of art.

🎀 Soft Pastel-Themed Trinkets
There was something nostalgic about the pastel-coloured plush toys and miniature travel bags—they felt soft, delicate, and timeless. It reminded me how small, thoughtful gifts can create the most treasured moments.

🌿 Natural & Coastal Home Décor
Inspired by the serene beauty of the coast, these décor pieces blended wood, rattan, and soft neutral tones to create a sense of calm. They were a perfect example of how gifting is shifting toward lifestyle pieces that bring warmth and elegance into everyday living.

🎄🎃 Pink Pastel Christmas & Halloween Decorations
Seasonal décor always fascinates me, but this was different—Halloween and Christmas themes in dreamy pastel shades instead of traditional bold colours. It was refreshing to see how simple reimaginings can make classic designs feel brand new.

🌊 Coastal-Inspired Seagull & Duck Décor
Decor pieces inspired by the seaside and nature blurred the lines between home accessories and meaningful gifts. It’s a reminder that gifting is no longer just about giving an item—it’s about offering an experience, a feeling, a piece of someone’s style.

🏡 The Fair Overview & Lifestyle Brand Booths
Reed Gift Fair was filled with an exciting variety of brands, showcasing everything from candles and fabrics to carefully crafted home décor. It was a testament to how the gift industry is evolving, embracing products that feel more intentional, more personal, and more beautifully designed than ever.

What’s Next? Expanding Our Approach to Gifting
This experience gave me a fresh perspective on the future of gifting—and I’m thrilled to be incorporating these insights into our upcoming collections. Here’s what’s shaping our direction:
🔹 Lifestyle & Home Gifts: Beautiful yet functional pieces are becoming the go-to gifts, blending practicality with personal charm.
🎁 Seasonal & Themed Collections: Themed gifts—whether for Christmas, Easter, or Halloween—create a sense of occasion. Inspired by this, I’m excited to explore seasonal collections that bring warmth and joy all year round.
✍️ Personalization & Thoughtful Details: A custom engraving, a meaningful date, a special message—personalization continues to be at the heart of a truly unforgettable gift.
A Moment of Reflection

Leaving ICC Sydney, I paused to take in the beauty of Darling Harbour and the iconic Harbour Bridge. Watching the reflections on the water, I felt grateful for the chance to be surrounded by creativity and new ideas.
More than anything, this fair reminded me why I love what I do: curating gifts that tell a story, bring people closer, and make every occasion feel a little more magical.
I’d love to hear from you—what makes a gift truly special in your eyes? Is it the thought behind it, the craftsmanship, or the memories it creates?
Your insights help shape our collections, and I can’t wait to share more exciting updates with you soon.
Warmly,
Irene
